Anna M. Palm

Anna M. Palm, 97, of Geneseo, Illinois, died Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Hillcrest Home, Geneseo.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Burial is in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.

The former Anna May Gallagher was born August 18, 1927, in Manhattan, New York, the daughter of Peter and Katherine (Foley) Gallagher. She married John E. Palm and the couple had a wonderful life together prior to his passing in 2006.

She worked as a secretary for Otis Elevator Company before getting married and then served her family as a stay-at-home mom and school volunteer.

She enjoyed backyard parties, time with friends, ballroom dancing, card games and church events.

Anna is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Stephen E. (Lucinda) Palm of Geneseo; and two grandchildren, Erik J. Palm and Deanna J. Palm. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and siblings, Catherine Fiore and John Gallagher.
