Antoinette D. Rodgers

Antoinette D. Rodgers, 60, of Davenport, Iowa, formerly of Chicago, Illinois, was called home by Our Father God on October 21, 2022, at UnityPoint Health – St. Luke’s Hospital, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Services are Noon Friday, November 4, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, with visitation from 11:00 to time of services.

Antoinette D. Rodgers affectionately known as Nette, Blackie and Tony, was born on September 27, 1962, in Chicago, Illinois. She was the second of five children to the union of Claudette Rogers and AD Brewer.

Antoinette was a humorous person who loved to tell jokes and keep everyone laughing. Her devotion to her family and the Lord was the core of her existence. She had a passion for sewing, movies, and cooking, with the dreams of following in her younger brother’s footsteps and opening her own restaurant named after her family, RBG & Clarisy.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Claudette Rodgers, and siblings, Clarity and Compton Jones.

Antoinette leaves behind to cherish her fond memories: her four children, Dameon Branom, Lakeisha Branom, Roshelle Green, and Vergie Rodgers; her father, AD Brewer; three grandchildren, Davion and Dajenay Branom, and Suncieray Davis; her siblings, Precious Rodgers and John Jones; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
