Darry B. Kannenberg

Darry Bruce Kannenberg, Bettendorf, Iowa, died November 28, 2021 at Bettendorf, Iowa.

He was born July 15, 1956 in Monmouth, Illinois. He received a public school education in his hometown of Rock Island, Illinois. He graduated from the senior high, class of 1974. He married his best friend, (Alice) Colleen Burns on October 31, 1980 at Memorial Christian Church in Rock Island. She preceded him in death on November 24, 2015. He attended Black Hawk College, and worked in bank computer services. Locally, he worked for Davenport Bank and Trust for many years.

He was a member at First Christian Church, East Moline, Illinois. He loved serving in the Meal Ministry and church dinners.

He was predeceased by his mother, Marjorie G. Kannenberg who died July 6, 1989; also by his Father in law, C. William Burns. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jared and Megan Kannenberg of Bettendorf. Also, by his beloved grandchildren.

There will be a private celebration of life scheduled later. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.
Burial will be later.
