Dawn M. Gatlin

 Dawn M. Gatlin, 72, of Davenport, Iowa, died Sunday, January 19, 2025 at Harmony Utica Ridge, Davenport. 

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Private burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery. 

Dawn Marie Gatlin was born July 19, 1952, in Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Shirley (Speth) Stevens. Dawn served in the U.S. Navy and worked for the U.S. Corps of Engineers for over 40 years. 

In her spare time Dawn enjoyed reading and was an avid animal lover.

Dawn is survived by her son, Steve Gatlin. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Sheila Schoop.
