Edythe M. Rodriguez

Edythe Maxine Rodriguez, 96, of New Boston, Illinois died Tuesday, November 2, 2022, at home, peacefully in her sleep surrounded by family.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Edythe was born December 19, 1925, in Macon, Missouri, to Gurney and Ada (Coons) Oldham. She married Anthony Rodriguez.

She worked for the Federal Government in the Social Security Department as a clerk for over 20 years. She enjoyed reading, spending time with family and friends, sewing, and working at the Chiefs and Royals stadiums.

She is survived by her children, William (Alvina) Russell, Richard (JoAnn) Rodriguez, Gwendolyn (Scott) Cozad, Toni Booker, and Mark Rodriguez; 11 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, and two sisters.
