George "Bud" Carle

George “Bud” Carle, 68, of Rock Island, Illinois, died Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Unity Point Health – Trinity Rock Island.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Private family burial will take place at a later date. 

George was born October 16, 1956, in Macomb, Illinois, the son of Gerald and Virginia (Wilson) Carle. He worked as a truck driver for over 20 years and was known as being the mayor of the alley in his neighborhood. 

George enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, camping, singing, hosting parties in his man cave, going to estate sales with his sister and spending time with friends and family. He also enjoyed grilling out while having a cold beer and hanging out with his dog Taz. 

He is survived by his siblings, Wilma (Michael) Williamson, Brenda (Doug) Rottman and William (Marjorie) Carle; his granddaughters, Jasmine Waugh and Emma Waugh; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Louis Logan; and his sister, Audrey Elaine Carle St. Clair.
