Gloria L. Smith

Gloria L. Smith, 59, of Muscatine, Iowa, died Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Aspire of Muscatine.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to King’s Harvest Pet Rescue, Davenport, Iowa.

Gloria Lynn Smith was born June 26, 1963, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Patrick E. and Patricia C. (Rowe) Smith.

She truly loved her career as a truck driver, as travel was her passion. She also liked horses and spending time with her family.

Gloria is survived by her daughter, Kelly Smith of Newton, Iowa; a grandson, Erik Hall; siblings, Karen (Kim) Jones of Gresham, Oregon, Kathi Smith of Gresham, Nancy (Wayne) Smith of Coral Springs, Florida, and Sean (Amanda) Smith of Havelock, North Carolina; special aunts, Jan Rowe of Rock Island and her family, and “Tutti” Williams of Andalusia, Illinois, and her family; nieces and nephews, Damon (Bella) Agretto, Molly Collins, Devin Lafoon, Zachary Smith, Lucas (Kimberly) Jones, and Colin (Ashleigh) Smith; four great-nieces and nephews; and family friends, Karen and Gordon Guffy of Eldridge, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters and brothers-in-law, Cynthia and Gary Schmidt, Linda and Jerry Collins; and a brother, Christopher Smith; and a niece, Charlie Emma Schmidt.
