Jose Raul Robles, Jr. “Con/Safos”, 71, of Muscatine, Iowa, died Saturday, February 26, 2022, at home.
A gathering to celebrate Jose’s life will be 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, March 12, at the Muscatine VFW. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Memorials may be made to the family.
Jose was born August 31, 1950, in San Antonio, Texas, the son of Jose Robles and Carmen Jimenez. He married Herminia Lopez on December 22, 1972, in Muscatine. He worked for Bandag (now Bridgestone) for 25 years.
He enjoyed dancing, boxing and wrestling, and watching UFC. He was also a green thumber who enjoyed grilling and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was the life of the party and will be deeply missed by his family.
Jose is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 50 years, Herminia “Minnie”; three children, Raul (Diana Martinez) Robles, Joe (Tiffany Corbett) Robles, and Rocksand (Hope Brockert) Robles, all of Muscatine; grandchildren, DeMarkus (Lexi Reed) Robles, Suni (Riley Gomez) Robles, DeRayven Robles, JJ Robles, and Charly Jo Robles; siblings, Guadalupe Enriquez of Wapello, Iowa, Grace (Octivano) Guzman of San Antonio, Irma Bravo of Muscatine, Iowa, Estella Robles of San Antonio, and Ricardo (Becky) Robles of Loredo, Texas; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister.
