Kevin K. Johnson

Kevin K. Johnson, 62, of Davenport, Iowa, died unexpectedly of natural causes on Monday, December 26, 2022, at home.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Memorials may be made to the family.

Kevin was born October 4, 1960, in Davenport, and was raised by his parents Roy Clifford and Gladys Lavon (Baker) Johnson. He married Cyndie DePover, and from the union came their daughter, Sara, prior to the couple separating. They remained good friends.

Kevin’s whole world revolved around his daughter and grandchildren. He loved spending time with them whenever possible and especially enjoyed watching their baseball games.

He is survived by his beloved daughter and son-in-law, Sara and Mike Schomer of DeWitt, Iowa; three grandchildren, Ayedan, Ashton, and Aynzlee Schomer, and Hunter and Dakota Johnson; a great-grandson, Clayton; and three brothers, Burl Johnson of Burlington, Iowa, Monte Johnson of Davenport, and Roy Johnson of Calamus, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Gladys Baker, a son and daughter-in-law, Robert K. “Bobby” and Theresa Johnson; and sisters, Kim and Kelly Munholland.
