Laurie K. Miller

Laurie K. Miller, 60, of Milan, Illinois, died Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at home.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Memorials may be made to Quad City Animal Welfare, Milan, Illinois.

The former Laurie Kim Johnston was born January 18, 1963, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Harold and Pauline (Myers) Johnston. She married the love of her life, Michael Miller, June 6, 1992, in Davenport, Iowa.

Laurie worked at Casey’s for over 20 years. She was known as being a very friendly person, and she went out of her way to talk to anyone. She enjoyed camping, music, dancing, boating, photography, and spending time with her family, friends and her dogs.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Miller; her daughter, Abby Miller; and her sibilings, Mona VanWinckle, Shirley Bell, Jodie Knoke, Pat Pintar, and Linda (Todd) Hildebrandt. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Pauline Johnston; and her brother, Bill.
