Lawrence Hays

Lawrence Hays ( Bob or papaw) age 89 died at Centennial nursing home in East Moline on 8/2/3020 at 7:50pm.

Lawrence was born in Bulan, Kentucky on 7/18/1931 to Robert Hays and Emma McIntosh, that have preceded him in death.

Lawrence retired after 31 years at Dunlee in Aurora Illinois where he made x-ray tubes. Before that he worked 8 years for RCA in Chicago, Illinois making television tubes.

Lawrence enjoyed reading the newspaper, watching western shows, and listening to country music. His favorite thing was watching his grandchildren and great- grandchildren grow.
Lawrence married Katherine (Hollin) Hays in 1964.

Survivors include daughter Toni and husband Mark Ensey of East Moline.
4 granddaughters Jessica, Nicole, and Sarah Jane Ensey, and Michelle Nelson. Also 10 great-grandchildren Chad, Keagan, Madison, Cartter, Gracie, twins Cynthia and Hope, Lily, Chlloe, and Caydden.

Lawrence is preceded in death by his grandson Matthew Ensey and sister Laveda Strong.
