Lois Schultz, 97, of East Moline, Illinois, formerly of Camanche, Iowa, died Sunday, March 28, 2021, in her home.
Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. A memorial service will be observed at a later date and held on Zoom.
The former Lois Wilma Hugunin was born May 1, 1923, in Camanche, to Clyde and Ione (Hoover) Hugunin. She married John Bennett Schultz in 1939, and he preceded her in death. She had an infectious smile which touched many hearts. She was a great homemaker and mother, and will be sadly missed. She practiced her Biblical faith as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses for over 70 years, and her hope consisted of a resurrection, John 5:28-29.
Lois is survived by four children and their spouses, Lynn Schultz of Peoria, Illinois, Mitzi and Kent Johnson of East Moline, James and Judy Schultz of Clarksville, Tennessee, and JoDee and David Hull of Clinton, Iowa, and 19 grandchildren and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Sharon Wernick, two sisters, two brothers, and two great-grandchildren.
Lois’s family extends a thank you to the UnityPoint Hospice team, Leah, Kylee, Janelle, and Christine, for their loving care, and invites friends to share memories and condolences at CremationQC.com.
