Louis A. Logan, 72, of Milan, Illinois, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2019, at Rosewood Care Center, Moline.
Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Private burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Carthage, Illinois.
Louis was born May 13, 1947, in Macomb, Illinois, the son of Howard F. and Virginia Louise (Wilson) Logan. He graduated from Moline High School in 1965 and was employed at Moline Forge for 15 years.
He enjoyed fishing, SCI-FI movies, and working on cars and electronics of any kind. He also loved to tell jokes and family get-togethers/dinners.
Louis is survived by three daughters, Penelope Hansen of Kansas, Candice Logan of Texas, and Pamela Logan of Moline; nine grandchildren; a great-grandson; siblings, Thomas (Rosa) Soseman of North Carolina, Wilma (Mick) Williamson of Milan, Brenda (Doug) Rottman of Rock Island, and George “Bud” Carle of Rock Island; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend and neighbor, Frank. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Logan; his mother, Virginia Carle; and a sister, Audrey Elaine St. Clair.
The family would like to give special thanks to the hospice team, Gigi Haney from Rosewood, and all the nurses and doctors at UnityPoint for the help and comfort given to Louis and his family.
