Margo L. Johnson

Margo L. Johnson, 71, of Davenport, Iowa, formerly of Aurora, Illinois, died Wednesday, June 23, 2022, at Bettendorf Health Care Center.

A gathering to celebrate Margo’s life will be held {date and time} at {place}. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established in Margo’s memory.

The former Margo Lorai Breyer was born February 25, 1951, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of Wilbert and Lavonne (Bond) Breyer. She worked as a radio disc jockey for many years and also as a wedding officiant.

Margo enjoyed music, musicals and plays, binge watching television shows, reading and cooking. She could (and did) talk to anyone about anything at all. Above all else, Margo loved spending time with her beloved grandchildren.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Brittany and Brandon McKinnis of Davenport; a son, Jeremy (Kristen Erbach) Herzberg of Lebanon, Ohio; grandchildren, Kevie, Carter and Kaia McKinnis, Paige Tamm, and Hope, Samantha, Kendal and Bo Erbach; and a sister, Dana Gilligan. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Steven Breyer.
