Meredith R. Wyly

Meredith R. Wyly, 51, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 14, 2019, at home.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline.  Cremation will take place prior to services at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

Meredith was born February 24, 1968, in Dallas, Texas.  She married Michael Wyly on February 4, 2012, in Arlington, Texas.

She was active in drama while in high school and went on to attend automotive college while she was living in Detroit.  She loved arts & crafts, dancing, and was a talented writer of poems.  One of her favorite things to do was “day-travel” with her husband, looking at old buildings, homes and parks.  Her other favorite thing was her family, especially her daughters and grandchildren.

Meredith is survived by her husband; two daughters, Jamie (Lamar Anderson) Stevens of Davenport, and Kirsten (Fiancé Darnell Whitley) Stevens of Davenport; step-children, Ryan, Xander, and Cordelia Wyly; three grandchildren, Gabby, Daijah and Legend; and a brother, Scott Walton.
