Pamela L. Quanstrom

Pamela Lou Quanstrom passed away at home on August 12, 2022 at 9:14 pm, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born May 21, 1941 in Davenport Iowa, the daughter of Jeanne and Frank Porter. She graduated from R.O.V.A. High School with the class of 1959. Upon graduation she worked at Fidelity Federal Savings and Loan.

She met James Quanstrom at a wedding in 1959. They married on July 16, 1960.

Her pride and joy were her 2 daughters, Kimberley & Kelly, and her grandchildren, MacKenzie and Colby. She loved being Grammy, and spent countless hours playing all sorts of games with her grandchildren.

She enjoyed antiquing, owning her own shop for 30 years. She loved her yard and her home. She was an avid bird watcher, delighting in seeing the variety of wildlife that visited the yard. She also enjoyed a spirited game of dominoes or pitch.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James, and her parents, Frank and Jeanne Porter.

She is survived by her children, Kimberley Quanstrom (Galesburg), Kelly (Kevin) Lee (Oswego), and grandchildren MacKenzie and Colby Lee (Oswego).
