Roger E. Thomas

Roger E. Thomas, 71, of Colona, Illinois, died Monday, January 9, 2023, at home.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

Roger Earl Thomas was born February 17, 1951, in Dizney, Kentucky, the son of Earl and Hazel (Godsey) Thomas. He was a truck driver for most of his career.

He enjoyed drinking and partying, spending time with friends, and playing picks and shooting pool.

Roger is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Donna Thomas of Moline; nieces and a nephew, Tammy Thomas of Michigan, Nicole Bettis of Colona, and Jeremy (Amber) Bettis of Hampton; and great-nieces, Jenna and Haylie Bettis. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Linda Darlene Thomas; and a nephew, Jason Thomas.
