Stephen Gonda

Stephen Gonda, 86, of Davenport, Iowa, formerly of Utica, New York, died Wednesday, June 29, 2022, in Bickdord Cottage, Davenport.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

Stephen was born December 26, 1935, in Likte, Hungary, to Ede and Rosalia Gonda. He served in the Hungarian military, and worked as an electronic technician in the aviation industry.

Stephen is survived by two children, Tina (Shelly) Gonda of Davenport and James Gonda of Albany, New York; two grandchildren, Dabielle and Nicole; and three great-grandchildren, Ian, Keelee, and Orin. He was preceded in detah by a son, Stephen J. Gonda, and a brother, Laslo Gonda.
