Vicki L. "Chickabe" Rock-Schrupp

Vicki L. “Chickabe” Rock-Schrupp, 55, of Bettendorf, Iowa, died Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Bettendorf.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Burial is in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling, West Virginia.

The former Vicki Lynn Parsons was born October 7, 1966, in Wheeling, the daughter of Albert and Ruth (Reinhardt) Parsons. She married the love of her life, Mark Schrupp, on October 31, 2011, in Moline. She worked for Shell Gas Station in Bettendorf for many years.

She loved watching movies and reading books, especially crime, science fiction, Steven King, and Jurassic Park. Above all else, family was the most important thing to Vicki.

Vicki is survived by her husband, Mark; four children, Crystal (Tom) Tetrick of Wheeling, Amber (John) Dow of Augusta, West Viriginia, Jerry (Amanda) Rock of Romney, West Viriginia, and Kimmy Schrupp of Bettendorf; four grandchildren, Ethan, Izzy, Noah, and Aubree; a brother and sister-in-law, Adam (Bonnie) Parsons of Wheeling; a sister, Linda Allen of Wheeling; several nieces and nephews; Mark’s parents, Gene and Joanne Schrupp of Moline; and Mark’s brother, Dan (Jennifer Fitzpatrick) Schrupp. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law, Lee Allen.
