William D. Seibel, 83, of Bettendorf, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Davenport Lutheran Home, with his loving family by his side.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

William Deane Seibel was born February 3, 1942, in Davenport, Iowa the son of Carl and Jeanette Seibel. He married Louanne Seibel on August 9, 2014, in Davenport.

Bill was a kind and gentle man. He was always there when you needed him and the biggest teddy bear. Driving was his passion. He drove and dispatched Taxi for many years. Later he started his own delivery service, Stage Delivery, where he continued his love for driving.

He also loved to gamble. Trips to the casino to play slots, bingo, and most of all, betting the horses. He was a huge fan of live horse racing and enjoyed the track. His love for all things Chicago, a passion passed down from his mother, was evident in everything he did. Whether cheering for the Cubs and Bears or taking the boys to a Blackhawks game, he found pure joy in every moment.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Louanne; children, Penny (Curtis) Wheeler, William II (Michelle Benitez) Seibel, Brenda (Wayne) Mills, Tony Azure, Lori (Eric) Baade, Carla (Herman) Ochoa, and Taynia McSparin; siblings, Terry Seibel and Marcia Hullinger; and many wonderful grandchildren & great-grandchildren. He was preceded by his parents and siblings, Dick, Jim, and Denny Seibel.

Bill deeply cherished his family and loved to spoil those he cared about. He was a remarkable man with endless patience, bringing a sense of peace and tranquility to everyone around him. Though he will be greatly missed, his memory will live on forever.
